“ Very good cafe and food, nice ambience! ”
“ You can’t judge a book by its cover, but you can judge a chef by his or her homemade soup. And the accompanying bread. This was fine dining in the literal sense. All the best team Guillemot. ”
“ We had a superb lunch at the guillemot recently. I had the flat bread and my partner had the rancheros. Everything was fresh, tasted good and the portion size just right, for us anyway. No complaints at all and if you have not tried it then you are definitely missing out on something very special. ”
“ Amazing food, great mocha, and friendly staff. This is definitely one of our favourite cafes! ”
“ Lovely little cafe was recommended by a local and I can say it is fabulous. Situated near the Eisenhower Pier, you can see the water, boats and birds if you get a window seat. Servers were very friendly and professional. Had the eggs Benedict and was delicious. Ample amounts of bacon rashers that tasted great and two perfectly poached eggs with a luscious creamy sauce. A little bit of peppery greens for spice. All very nice ”
“ We had a delicious lunch of sausage rolls, salads and coffee last week. I particularly appreciated how well my baby and 3-year-old were treated here. The servers were very friendly and engaging towards them - and one even picked up on the fact that my eldest wasn't finding the sausage roll to his liking, so she offered to go get a "normal" sausage from the restaurant for him. She must have been on his wavelength, because that's exactly what he wanted. And at no extra charge! I was very touched that she went that extra mile for him. We will definitely come back if ever in Bangor again! ”
“ Lovely hot chocolate, cappuccino and goodies to go. Served efficiently and lovely traybakes and ham and cheese croissant heated up even though it was a really busy Sunday morning. Thanks ”
“ Came here for the first time only recently, even though I’m a native Bangorian. Ate at both the restaurant and the cafe and both times the food and service was superb. It was also a massive breath of fresh air that the cafe had rock music on low in the background, sick of hearing Taylor Swift in every establishment I go into Had the French toast with bacon and maple syrup and it was, hands down, the best breakfast I’ve ever had. My mum also spent the entire time eyeing all the jams, chutneys and vinegars while we ate and I’m pretty sure she’d rob the place if she thought she could get away with it Amazing experience and will definitely be back ”
